MGM Grand |
The MGM Grand's is one of several casinos operated by the MGM company
which includes the Bellagio, Treasure Island and New York New York.
Everything at the MGM is done on a grand scale starting with over
5000 hotel rooms, a 170,000 sq. foot gaming floor to the Grand Pool
complex and the massive 29,000 sq. foot spa.
The casino features all of the popular table games such as blackjack,
baccarat and craps, a truly comprehensive selection of slots and video
poker, a large poker room and a huge 170 seat sports and race betting
section.

Rooms and Suites
With a total of 5,000 rooms in ten different classes there is a room
to suit everyone at MGM Grand. The standard Grand Tower rooms average
between $75 and $140 a night and the price goes up from there. At
the top end of the spectrum you have the Marquee Suites and the one,
two or three bedroom Skylofts.
Gaming
The casino floor hosts 130 gambling tables and 3000 slot machines.
There is a 22 table poker room that is non-smoking with Hold'em tournaments
being run every week. If you like sports or race betting then be sure
to check out the sportsbook with it's big screen TV's and 170 seats.

Dining
Within the MGM Grand there are 15 restaurants with various cuisines
ranging from French to Japanese to Italian and from casual dining
to fine dining. Restaurants include Craftsteak, Diego, Fiamma Trattoria,
Joël Robuchon at The Mansion, the MGM Grand Buffet, Shibuya,
the Studio Cafe and Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill.
Entertainment
The Grand Garden Arena is where you will find championship boxing,
special events and concerts by the worlds biggest bands. The Hollywood
Theatre hosts headline acts nightly such as David Copperfield and
Tom Jones. You can also see KA by Cirque du Soleil and LA FEMME from
the original Crazy Horse in Paris. Studio 54 is also a very popular
club.
Shopping
The MGM Grand has two shopping areas, the Starlane Shops and Studio
Walk. The Starlane Shops feature a 1950's style with shops such as
Grand Candy, Las Vegas Harley Davidson and others. The Studio Walk
features a selection of men's and women's apparel, jewelry, a Celebrity
Cellars and the CBS Television City where you can get merchandise
from shows such as CSI and Survivor plus research new programs.
