Money Management |
One of the biggest factors that separates the good players from the
bad is how they manage their bankroll. Having a sound plan goes a
long way to making your gambling vacation or online gaming a more
enjoyable and rewarding experience even if you don't win big.
We also show you why many players feel that they never win when in
fact they just don't know when to leave the table and walk away a
winner. While it can be a hard decision sometimes it is crucial to
making the most out of your gambling adventures. |
| Budgeting Your Gambling Sessions |
Before you even set foot into a casino or log in to you online casino
account you should set some budget limits. The first should be the
total amount of money that you will play with. Once you have this
amount you should divide it by the amount of days you are at the casino
or gambling sessions you wish to have. Once you have done this you
will know exactly what you have to gambling with for each session.
Each time you begin a wagering session decide on how much you want
to win. Be realistic in your goals rather than going for a million
dollars every time you hit the tables. Start with a small goal such
as winning 50% more than your starting bankroll. If you reach your
goal you have three choices, continue playing with the entire amount,
stop playing or continue with only part of the money. All options
have their advantages.
If you find that you have lost your daily bankroll then be sure to
go and do something else like a take a tour, see a show or enjoy some
time using the casinos facilities. The most important thing is to
not use any of the money planned for other days. If you stick with
this you will find that you get to gamble every day of your vacation
without going over your total trip budget. |
| How to Be A Winner |
The following are some points to consider that will help you become
a winner when you gamble online or offline. While they in no way
guarantee you win they will without doubt keep you in budget and
give an entertaining vacation.
- Set a budget : Always decide how much you are
willing to risk and stick to it.
- Join the comp program : Make the most of free
rooms, meals, etc
- Walk away a winner : Stop playing when you
are ahead
- Have reasonable goals : Trying to win a million
every time will never happen
- Know your game : Learn the ins and outs of
the games you like to play
- Don't Chase Losses : Treat every session as
a new unrelated session
- Big Progressives : Have one or two spins on
the million dollar jackpot slots

| Choosing a Bet Size |
One of the biggest mistakes that many gambling newcomers make is betting
too big for their bankroll. They lose all of their money without really
playing many hands or having many slot pulls, dice throws etc. Your
allotted bankroll for the day should define the size of your bets.
Aim to get the most entertainment for your buck.
There is no set rules for how much you should play per game but we
recommend making sure you have at least enough for 20 bets at the
minimum. This way you will not be wiped out by a bad run for three
or four bets.
